The block was originally purchased by parents and interior designers Ben Rochford and Dominee Gessner when it went on sale in August 2018.

Before buying it, they had lived across the street.

“We had walked this block a few times and were like ‘wow, this is a whole new elevation up here,'” said Ms. Gessner Real estate.

‘First of all, we were excited to stay on the street and see what we could do with this property. We knew it was bigger and there was an opportunity to do something really special with this block.”
