by Ozva Admin

While not yet officially announced, the next assassin’s Creed game (which was codenamed Fissure) has already been the subject of some leaks and reports. The most recent leak has now gone a bit further and revealed that it will be called Assassin’s Creed Mirage and reiterated that he will take the series back to basics.

This most recent drop came from French YouTuber j0nathan and was translated by Rebs Gaming on Twitter. The long list has a lot of details, but only some of them seem to be accurate. Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier who has had multiple reports about this game (and the series in general), chimed in, saying the title is accurate along with the other details he’s previously confirmed: a spring 2023 release window, its Baghdad setting, and its return to basics. He said some parts weren’t accurate, like the part about him having multiple cities to explore. Informant Jeff Grubb he also put his two centssaying that he had also heard that it was called Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Since Schreier didn’t check every single thing on the list, it’s hard to tell which parts are true and which aren’t. Highlighting the “return to AC The Basic Part” implies that it’s taking inspiration from the first entry, but it’s unclear if that also means it won’t have as many RPG mechanics.

A remake of the series debut from 2007 is also on that list and it’s not the first time it’s been mentioned. Some noted that the images from the first game the one that played during the anniversary broadcast was airbrushed compared to the original trailer. The press kit for the stream also had an updated version of the game’s logo, as it now had “A Ubisoft Original” below the logo, which is something Ubisoft puts on new titles. The games anniversary site also countdown to september and will finish the first assassin’s Creed.

The original is backwards compatible on Xbox, but cannot be played on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, making it the only main entry that isn’t on modern non-PC hardware. And Ubisoft has not only remastered the three games starring Ezio, the company has also included remasters of Assassin’s Creed III Y Assassin’s Creed III: Deliverance with Assassin’s Creed OdysseySeason pass. If true, including an improved version of the first game with MirageThe season pass would only continue that trend, especially if the vignette about the two shared assets and design philosophies is also correct.

Whatever the case, Ubisoft will no doubt be sharing more in September. during his assassin’s Creed stream Y Ubisoft Forward Event. The series-specific broadcast is undated, but Ubisoft Forward will air on September 10. assassin’s Creed stream will have the “future” of the series and will probably have more information about Mirage as much as Plenty, live service entry confirmed. And if they exist, it would also be the place to talk to the rumored origins Y Odyssey Cross and remaster of the first Assassin’s Creed.
