Victoria Leeds strengthens position as a destination to shop both luxury and everyday quality with five new retailers – Retail Times

Victoria Leeds has strengthened its position as an unrivaled destination for everyday luxury and quality shopping with the addition of five new retailers. Where contemporary meets traditional, Victoria Leeds is at the forefront of new shopping trends with a progressive approach to retail and new listings; Homegrown UK independents meet in-demand fashion and lifestyle brands, as well as cutting-edge concept stores.

New Retail Brands:

Pioneering retail innovator SOOK, which opened this week at Victoria Gate, is taking high streets by storm with its digitally connected space that regularly transforms to showcase a variety of retailers, creators and service providers. From fashion designers and yoga to salons and tech launches, visitors can expect a carousel of exciting emerging products, events and experiences in this innovative space.

The newly opened North Home is unique to Victoria Leeds and introduces shoppers in the city to Japandi design, a blend of Japanese and Scandinavian styles. The brainchild of owner Kamil Wangin, North Home selects timeless, ethical and sustainable pieces that reject throwaway culture. The concept store features a sophisticated selection of dinnerware, elegant furnishings and stylish accessories. Located on Vicar Lane.

Also new is Carl Stuart, a Yorkshire native. With shops in Huddersfield, Ossett and now Leeds, this Yorkshire tailor has more than 50 years of history. Carl Stuart is now an internationally recognized bespoke tailor serving high profile clients including the British Royal Family. Located in the ornate County Arcade in the Victoria Quarter, the team designs quality business wear and bespoke special event tailoring.

Expressive jewelery and body art brand, Astrid and Miyu, have brought their first pink boutique outside of London to the Victoria Quarter following success in New York. The elegant store features a beautiful array of jewelry, including their signature stacks and custom welded bracelets. The brand also offers engraving, tattooing, and piercing services in a laid-back, pretty pink space that soothes all those excitable nerves.

Returning to King Edward Street, Liam Gallagher’s Pretty Green will reopen this month. Back by popular demand, the brand reflects the interconnected relationship of music, culture and style with its exclusive menswear collection. From Manchester to Leeds, Pretty Green is ready to conquer both the city’s fashion and music community.

Commenting on the new arrivals, Jo Coburn, Victoria Leeds Senior General Manager, said: “We are very excited to welcome such a variety of unique and distinctive retailers to Victoria Leeds. Each of our new additions truly reflects the forward-thinking spirit of our destination and recognizes the demand for quality products and experiences in Leeds.”

“Our customers are looking for variety, quality and inspiring environments to spend time in, and our approach is to proactively respond to this by improving their experience and exceeding expectations.”
