Over £600 worth of perfume was stolen from a major retailer in Wrexham.
In his daily police update, Insp Luke Hughes said the incident at a “large pharmacy in the Plas Coch shopping area” took place at 10:06am yesterday.
A lone man reportedly entered the premises and stole perfume “worth £650”.
Insp Hughes said: “As mentioned above, this is a national problem with organized criminals traveling around the UK and stealing large volumes of perfume/alcohol and other items for resale.
“I had a conversation last week with another department who kindly agreed to support our Christmas retail crime initiative, with plainclothes officers targeting this type of crime and also targeting some of the local repeat offenders.
