Homes for sale near London’s best state schools for less than £650,000


Ondon’s best schools are a big driver of the capital’s housing market, with homes close to the best elementary and high schools often commanding significant premiums.

In fact, in March, the Simpson Millar law firm found that properties within the catchment areas of schools rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted had an average price of £654,289 — 20 percent more than the new city-wide average of £543,517.

Gospel Oak Primary School, near Hampstead Heath, is the most expensive to live in, with parents living in the same postcode paying an average of £1.7m.

But happily, there are some equally excellent schools, all also rated ‘Outstanding’, within walking distance of family homes that cost much less.
