Launching from Black Friday, November 25, Amazon UK’s first ‘Small company, great experiences’ will see three small companies launch limited-edition experiences available to purchase for the same price as their existing products currently available on Amazon’s online store.
More than half of all products purchased on Amazon UK are sold by small businesses, where customers can find unique products and giftables from more than 85,000 UK-based small business sales partners. In addition to these exciting new experiential offerings, customers can look for the Small Business Badge to identify products sold by small businesses throughout the year.

As a result, buyers will have the opportunity to purchase a relaxing weekend retreat in the country or an intimate dinner with a celebrity chef for the same price as a set of candles or peanut butter buttons.
The new experiences will launch every day from November 25-27 at noon and will be available for a limited time only while supplies last. There will be ten experiences related to each of the three small businesses. These experiences will be limited to one per customer and account.
A taster of the Small companies, great experiences available between November 25 and 27 is as follows:
- superfood: Discover the evolution of peanut butter brought to life by top-chef michael barclayvia a vegan tasting menu evening hosted at the Italian Design Kitchen in Notting Hill made with the delights of Superfoodio
- Ankyu: A weekend for craft lovers, with macramé workshops organized by Ankyu in the heart of the English countryside at the Manor and Ashbury Resort and Hotel
- fuzzy gaseous: Enjoy the ultimate day of calm at the Grand Hotel Birmingham, where you’ll create your own Fizzy Fuzzy bath bomb, followed by a reflexology massage, guided meditation session and afternoon tea.
“Last year, more than half of the products sold from Black Friday to Cyber Monday on Amazon worldwide came from independent sales partners, most of whom were small and medium-sized businesses. This year, we’re making it easier than ever for customers to support local small businesses with our small business showcase and Small Business Badge to easily identify products sold by small businesses,” explains John Boumphrey, Amazon UK Country Manager, “In addition, for the first time, we are offering customers exciting experiences alongside small business offers, such as a way to show that buying from small local businesses can have a huge impact on our economy and bring even more joy to our lives.”
This Black Friday Week, customers can support UK small businesses while saving on the hottest gifts and beloved stocking stuffers through the small business showcaseand explore a wide selection of gift ideas at the Small Business Gift Finder. Customers can also use the small business badge to identify products sold by small businesses. More than half of all products purchased on Amazon UK are sold by small businesses, and customers can now purchase unique and giftable products from more than 85,000 UK-based small business sales partners. Those companies sold more than 950 million products on Amazon last year, up from 750 million year-on-year, and have created 250,000 jobs across the UK to date.
